look carefully and consider Mazda as an alternative. |
Detailed review: |
I have a 2000 sentra (this site kept defaulting to 2006) anyways. The car has bee reliable however the check engine light has been on for 3 years now for emissions. I took it to a dealer and after two days and $400 Armory Garage in Albany said it was fixed. The NEXT DAY it came back on. I called them and they said if it was the same exact code their would be no charge, otherwise I'd be forced to pay for more labor at $90/hr and parts. I said no thank you and complained to Nissan and got no response. This year I ran into a friend that has a 2001 Nissan Sentra and her engine emissions light goes on and off all the time. To me this sounds like is a manufacturing problem. The car also is rusting and the AC is now gone. I am going to trade it in this fall most likely for a Mazda 3. |
