If you have small children be aware of the latch system on the bench seat model. We assumed the latch options would extend across the entire second row as our two previous SUV/Trucks did. They do not.Only the right and middle positions. Who wants two kids sitting cramped side by side? Also I have to climb into the car to unstrap my child in the center position. Another downside is that you cannot access the third row seat if a carseat is latched in the right-side position. Chev. does not offer a kit to add a latch behind the driver. Poor judgement in my opinion. Let the owners decide where they want to latch their children! We have now had to compromise our childrens' safety for a peaceful existence and easy access to our children! I also wish Chev. offered side air bags as standard feature on all three rows,as other newer vehicles offer these days. Otherwise, I love the smooth,quiet ride, performance and stereo system of this vehicle. Plenty of cubbies, deep console and cubholders as well. But, I would not have bought the bench seat model had I realized the latch system was designed this way. |
