Pros: Nice sounding stereo
Cons: Vehicle sits far too low to ground to be a practical driver !
Advice: Steer clear of this vehicle, you'll pay now, and you'll pay later !Bought '05 Sebring Coupe new in April of '05. Super exterior appearance, very aggressive look/ stance, that being, vehicle is so low to ground, and very large tires with attractive wheel design. However, after one year of ownership, that's where my interest of the '05 Sebring Coupe ended ! The Coupe is the most unpracticle vehicle ever ! In fact, the Coupe sits so low to ground, you can't drive up/ down most hills without damaging the under carraige of the vehicle ! After one year, I had to replace the entire front plastic bumper cover due to bottoming out the vehicle from traveling up/ down hills ! If you live in snow country as I do, forget it ! One good snow, and possibly, there goes your muffler, exhaust pipe, etc ! The car's just too low to ground for reasonable everyday use. My vehicle had the 4 cylinder engine w/ automatic transmission. To my surprise, the 4 held its own for pulling around a vehicle the size of the coupe, and the automatic transmission was responsive. The vehicle was really exhausting to get in/ out of because of height of vehicle from road surface. You had to throw yourself in, and then fight to climb out ! Dash design was bland, insturments were dim lit for night driving, too dim, and insturments were small/ hard to read. Nice stereo though, and heat and a/c worked well. In reality, only 4 adults could sit in vehicle, 5 would be pushing things a bit. Build quality appeared solid/ sound with exception of exterior design compromising the build quality as noted above. Once inside vehicle, should you attempt to use your sun visors, you then could not see one half of the road infront of you ! Driver visability was an extreme negative w/ this vehicle, you must be at your best to try and steer clear of hitting someone at all times. Trunk space is more than adaquate. In regard to comfort, this car has a busy type ride that can wear you down fast, it's definately not a long distance cruiser, even though, the vehicle does drive smoothly equipped w/ the touring suspension. Quality of interior is typical Chrysler, 'Cheap plastic', dull design. In the handling dept., the vehicle corners well, remains level in turns, and breaks well. However, on first week of ownership I had to have a rotor replaced, as it was warpped right from the showroom floor.
Pros: nice styling
Advice: give america a ghance. you won't be disapointedi've had 6 nissans, 3 hondas, and 1 toyota, and have found this car every bit as comfortable, just as reliable as any of them. no complaints.
Pros: unique looks. not another clone on the road.
Cons: tiny radio dials.
Advice: its a sports car. expect limited visability & a rough ride, but get one anyway.just picked up my new 05 crossfire limited with GPS, for the amazing price of $ 20,500.00. this is less then the price of a stratus. the car looks & handles excellent.
Cons: Quality of parts on the car mechanical
Advice: If you dont have a good warranty dont buy it and it will be in the shop all the timeI had two set of rotors already on this car that i have had a year. also drums replaces steering shaft now replaced twice as well the dealer told me the brakes are all like this i owned a kia rio had 115 miles on it and never replace rotors i would say this is a big problem The car is loud and sometimes wont start right away. I have never had so many problems with a car i thought i was buying a better car boy was i fooled
Pros: Interior and power
Advice: Purchase the best maintenance policy you can...you will need it.My Chrysler 300C was in the shop 14 times in the first year of purchase (August 04). Problems still exist from day one that Chrysler will not fix. I am frustrated to say the least!! Luckily, I leased the vehicle. It's definitely going back at the end of my lease. Nice looking car, but Chrysler has a long way to go on improving the durability of the car!
Pros: Stereo CD player audio system - It is like a concert in your car if you enjoy music.
Cons: Plastic Door Panel Trim (under car doors-entire length of vehicle. It fell off my 300C, and also, fell off on two other 300C owners. No warrenty service granted, yet is under a warranty protection plan.
Advice: A $40,000 car, you don't deserve plastic trim falling off vehicle. Any trim parts of plastic form should be securely glued during attachment. Trim is not glued. It is moveable, you can pull it off, near the real wheel attachment.Am a recent owner, with roughly 9,000 on mileage. Purchased used at 3,000 on the mileage. V8 engine, and drives with excellent handling and impressive speed. On gas mileage, air-conditioner not running, the car performed 63 miles (city and highway drive combined). With air-conditioner running, on a highway drive of 2 hours, the car used 1/2 gallon of fuel, one way trip. With gas prices, be somewhat conservative on utilizing a/c to preserve gas mileage.
Pros: It's all about the HEMI, man!!
Cons: Interior material quality could be better
Advice: Buy it now!!Fantastic power, with good handling. Very comfortable interior. Outrageously great sound system!! Can't beat it at the price!!
