2005 Chrysler Sebring - Touring Convertible
Pros: The fact that it's a convertable!
Cons: The lack of a boot for the top - there's one you can buy, but not included.
Advice: If you are buying used, go latest model you can afford - early ones had problems. This is my second Sebring Convertable (The previous was a '96 jxi 6-cyl) and the car continues to impress me - no wonder this is one of the best selling ragtops around! I'm a very big guy and find that most convertables are too tight and unconfortable to drive, but the Sebring is in a small group of convertables that are made with plenty of interior room, top up or down. The 6-cyl version has plenty of power and handles well, with less interior noise than I would have expected - but prepare to get windblown in the back seat. The 4-cyl is underpowered though, avoid it if you can. Still the biggest trunk I've ever seen in a convertable.
2004 Chrysler Sebring - Base Convertible
Pros: Low cost operation for a third car purchased for fun
Cons: the engine
Advice: would purchase the 6 cylinder if gas weren't so expensivePurchased the four cylinder Sebring. I'm tall - 6'-7' and for me this is a comfortable car. Car handles well, four cylinder engine makes the car slightly underpowered so it 'feels' heavy. Roof works without a hitch, no leaks, air system both A/C and heat are powerful; one quality issue is back rear window which has an annoying rattle when driving with the roof up which makes a sound when you hit holes. Personally I love the looks of the car, but that is of course subjective.
2005 Chrysler Sebring - Touring Sedan
Pros: The V6 power
Cons: No glove box light
Advice: Buy the V6This car has power, style, and value. Compared to Honda, Toyota, and Ford, it offered more: feature to feature at a better price. Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, lack any style and have that ugly econo car look. Ford Tarus is underpowered. So far, I'm very happy with the V6 Sebring, it's fun to drive.
2005 Chrysler Sebring - Base Convertible
Advice: buy it!The best car on the market! I love it! Smooth and comfortable ride. No problems with it so far. I would definitely reccommend it!
2005 Chrysler Sebring - Base Sedan
Pros: CD player
Cons: the car
Advice: trade it in for a HondaAfter driving this car, I found that the 4cyl can NOT get out of its own way! The features are cheap, and do not feel like they would last over time. If you have a dog, do not let him/her ride due to the possibility of them stepping on the window switch and choking themselves. The only thing that I can say that is positive, is the decent stereo that is stock on the sedan.
2004 Chrysler Sebring - Base Coupe
Pros: interior appearance
Cons: does not have anti lock brakes!!!!
Advice: buy one that is a year old. they are expensive new and as soon as you drive off the lot your car loses value anyways!!I was never a big fan of the older Sebrings but WOW I love this car! I am 18 and thought I would never buy a car like this but this car was very stylish and the test drive proved that the car can be sporty and accomodate a family whe the time comes! Sebring has come a long way!!
2004 Chrysler Sebring - LXi Sedan
Pros: Sporty, Classy Look
Cons: Not a thing that I can think of!
Advice: Get on the freeway and floor it. It sold my husband. This car has some get up and go!!!! We Love it!!
