2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser - Base

    Pros: body style

    Cons: not much

    Advice: drive one

what else can i say its a fast little car and i have no problem with its performance. though i have heard many complaints about its lack of power i dont see this to be a problem.i have owned many of a automobile from the slowest kia to the fastest mustang.the compfort is outstanding.the head room is great.the minute you sit behind the steering wheel your in love.the handling is just another plus.she can take tight fast corners and stop on a dime.but yet on the other side she is a handy vehicle that can get the kids to school on time and also pick up a fairly big load of grocerys.a pt is one of those cars that once your out for a drive you dont evar want to go home.in three words the car is fun, fun, fun.a car for all ages!!!!this is my second pt.i have owned a 2001 and now a 2002.all i can say is differnt strokes for differnt folks.its up to you.drive one maybe you will fall in love all over again.

    2002 Chrysler 300M - Special Edition

    Pros: Sleek looking

    Cons: Engine Flaws

Advice: Do not buy Chrysler Products

Be aware of paying lots of money for a Chrysler product thats not backed by advertised company quality. Bought a brand new 300M and at less than 1000 miles I have experienced engine knocking, rough idle and misfiring at idle. Good points, car looks great. Bad point, the engine.... Most of all beware of Dealers that advertise 5 Star service. Did not see this at Lancaster Ca, Hunter Dodge Dealer!

    2003 Chrysler 300M - Base

    Pros: price, look,performance

Cons: poor maintaince, poor components, bad suspension

Advice: go to a five star dealer

I enjoy driving this vehicle, especially on highways. Unfortunatly i live in new york city where the potholes are murder. This car would be a dream if the suspension were better.

2003 Chrysler Town and Country - Limited FWD

Pros: My wife thinks power doors are great, I like the safety features and ease of access. The sunroof is huge!

Cons: the buying experience. The shift column blocks some radio controls. The back seats dont move forward or back, and the passenger power seat doesn't lower, it makes the ceiling seem low for 6 footer

Advice: Use the advice and worksheets on www.carbuyingtips.com. and get price quotes before you walk in. I also used Chryslers website to find the exact car I wanted.

We are expecting our 3rd child, so we began to look in the minivan market. I had had problems with a previous car and had been givent a T&C as a loaner. My wife fell in love with it. we looked at all models but Chevy and Ford Our test drive in a limited was wonderful. Our buying experience was not. After talking with the dealer with the vehicle we test drove, the heavy sales guns came out, and the price went up to over 40,000. I walked out and searched the web. www.carbuyingtips.com helped me use web services to find invoice prices and get quotes. With all of the information in hand, I was able to get a great deal on a Limited FWD with sunroof and DVD player. I bought the extended warranty and felt comfortable with the process. Use the website and get quotes. It gives you some power when you go to the dealer. I cant rate everything as a 100 with only a few thousand miles on the vehicle, but my wife made a trip to Florida in it and felt safe and secure.

    2003 Chrysler 300M - Base

    Pros: Appearance, drive and roominess.

    Cons: Poor quality.

    Advice: Take a pass.

I leased my 300M and it has been lots of trouble. Problems with electric windows (2 times), electric seat, air conditioning compressor, & stereo speakers. This is a nicely designed, but poorly built car. Get one only if you are really fond of service advisors.

2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser - Touring Edition

    Pros: Styling and interior space

    Cons: Gas milage

Advice: Drive it and you'll take it home.

Of course, the styling was what first caught my eye. I wanted a PT Cruiser since they first came out, but the dealers were price gouging. Chrysler offered $1000 rebates and a 7/100 powertrain warranty. That clinched it. It rides well, has TONS of room for being so small, handles well and of course, looks COOL. I have about 13,000 miles on this car and it has not been back to the dealer except for oil changes. No squeaks, rattles, wind noise or defects. Acceleration is better than I expected, contrary to most reviews. I believe this is the BEST vehicle that Chrysler makes.

    2002 Chrysler 300M - Special Edition

Pros: Luxury with over 100 MPH easy

Cons: Hard to judge Front & Rear bumpers when parking

Advice: Check out and but MO PAR accessories

Dear 300 M Special potential owners: To sum it up in this first sentence...You will not go wrong with the 300M Special! My 200 LHS got 'hurt' and the M Special is the ideal replacement {unless the Concord ala carte suits you] With the Special as far as options go you have an easy choice. I took them all, along with some Genuine MO-PAR accessories. The painted spoiler is, how they say 'IT'S THE BOMB' annd you can install it yourself easily. Problems...none except the amplifier has a TSB the dealer easilly fixes. Praise....Limited to 500 words here, so briefly, buy with confidence. Mine is just 'broken in', changed oil at 500 miles [synthetic] Got, honest 20.8 MPG running hard to western Maryland to see daughter in college. Long up-hill pulls not a problem.
