2006 Chrysler Pacifica - Touring FWD
Pros: Smooth ride
Cons: THe seats are kinda hard to fold down to get to the third row seats.
Advice: There is a rather big blind spot in the rear of the vehicle. Be cautious backing up and changing lanesVery smooth drive, very room, nice with dual a/c. All leather bucket seats and everything is electric, even the hatchback. I would recommend this vehice to anyone who has a fomily and is looking for an elegant, roomy, comfortable and smmoth vehicle. My kids love it. I could not have asked for a better car for the price and quality. Great family vehicle.
2005 Chrysler Pacifica - Limited AWD
Cons: Service History I average every 2 weeks at the garage and been to 3 dealer ships
Advice: JUST SAY NO!Bought a Brand New 06 Pacifica Limited. I have had nothing but troubles. I have this weird check engine light issue that they CAN NOT FIX!!! No lie even got corporate involved, still can not fix it. The light comes off and on, but the computer doesn't read a code. The head liner came apart twice (for no reason. The Throttle body broke was replaced under warranty. Now the Driver side tie rod end is bad after 32,000 miles. The car also deleted all my pre-programmed radio stations, turned the heat up all on it's own. Chrysler gave me a free 100,000 mile warranty but I send more time at the garage with this SUV then I do with my 2002 Ford Ranger with 83,000 miles on it. The vehicle is nice has all the bells and whistles, but there is no quality to it. Thinking of hiring a lawyer to force Chrysler to swap it or by it back from me. At this point I will not buy another chrsyler if this is what expect.
2005 Chrysler Pacifica - Touring AWD
Pros: Side curtain airbags and 4 star rollover protection and handles like a car.
Cons: Could use a little more power.
Advice: Take a Test Drive2005 Touring with 36,100 miles and Flawless performance. 3rd row seats most comfortable of any vehicle on the market. I love the Navigation location because you do not have to look away from the road to use it. The grand kids can watch Movies while I listen to music. The rear view limited, but average for this class of vehicle. The 2007 has a rear view camera option which displays in the navigation screen.
2005 Chrysler Pacifica - Touring FWD
Pros: satallite radio
Cons: Blind spots
Advice: noneVery comfortable, and even feels bigger than our mini-van that we traded in.
2004 Chrysler Pacifica - AWD
Pros: There is so much room. I am 5'11
Cons: Without the manual it is difficult to determine how to use the wireless headphones....that's the most of your problems with the Pacifica.
Advice: Test drive one today....you won't be disappointed. My husband bought this car for me as a wedding gift and when he brought it home I was so amazed, I cried! I couldn't stop looking at it. The inside of the vehicle was immaculate. Everything was perfect from the rims, to the quality of the sound system to the way it felt driving on the highway. I love it! It is perfect for our family-elegant, classy, spacious and functional. I couldn't have asked for a better vehicle. My husband really hit the jackpot when he bought the Pacifica. The price is reasonable and it rides like a first class SUV/Minivan/Sedan all in one!
2006 Chrysler Pacifica - Limited FWD
Pros: Being able to go in/out as in a minivan.
Cons: Dried break fluid tends to be found in the lower part of the car.
Advice: If you need room for only four or five people and you like a roomy vehicle consider it.If I had just read Consumer Reports I would have never purchased this vehicle. The vehicle is really for people that appreciate lots of room while moving down the road. In the case of my wife, she just wanted to accommodate her rather long legs. I can see this car to be excellent to anyone weighing over 225 lbs. One of the supposed drawbacks of the engine is the noise. If the vehicle is driven as a sports car I could consider that a problem, but for normal driving there is no problem. I truly don't hear the engine. I purchased a 'low-end' vehicle but it has power seats for both driver and passenger side and A/C control for the second row (?). Some basic car.
2005 Chrysler Pacifica - Touring FWD
Cons: GAS MILEAGE
Advice: DON'T BUYI HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE WITH THIS CAR,I HAVE HAD TO HAVE THE AIR/HEAT FIXED 5 OR 6 TIMES, ALWAYS THE SAME PROBLEM. GAS MILEAGE IS TERRIBLE. OVERALL I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH IT. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS CAR IS THAT IT LOOKS GOOD. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DODGE PRODUCT.
