Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Pros: Styling, inviting personal space for two with high fun to drive quotient
Cons: Poor rearward visibility and fairly rough ride on broken roads.
Advice: Take an extended test drive - you'll love it.I've had my 2005 Crossfire Ltd for two months. The Crossfire is a unique, standout sports car. The six speed brings the best out of the superb engine. You'll love the sound of the motor as it revs above 3,000 and the way it flies through corners is astounding. The stereo is fantastic. Caution - drivers must get mirrors adjusted correctly and be comfortable using them versus shoulder checking - critical because of large blindspots from c-pillars.
Cons: Repeated tire failure with no recourse on Chrysler or Continental!!
Advice: Make sure you get in writing a guaranteed lifetime supply of tires for this car before you buy!Great car to drive, good power and most of the bells & whistles, but LOOK OUT. The car came with 60k continental tires on it that failed at 10k. Despite having read a chrysler memo stating they are working to solve the tire wear issues with the 300, the official Chrysler 'customer service' response is they have nothing to do with the tires and provide no support. Continental says the problem is with the 300 because they have had many similar issues with that model and it's not Continental's problem. Finally gave up and bought a 2nd set of tires that started showing signs of failing at at 7k miles, same response from both companies. Putting $1k of tires on the car annually has me looking to dump this car.
Advice: Don't test it because it will get you.Try it you'll like it. I have been a Buick fan for many years. But when I tested the new Lucerne againt the 300C, there was no comparison. The ride is great, the looks outstanding and the engine is very responsive. Also gets good mileage for a large car. You will not be disappointed.
Cons: cup holder
Advice: Negotiate a good priceI just love every minute driving this car. It's fun to drive.
Pros: looks, speed, handling
Cons: hard to see when in reverse, hard to adjust seats
Advice: just buy it! you'll love itlove at first sight
Pros: sound when acceleratinmg , looks . loaded with all the options. first class
Cons: cup holder. shouldnt drink while driving anyway (soda)
Advice: keeps you slim and trim. not for plus sizesive had mine 1 year and i still love it . nothiing compares to this sports car. style, quality, price . i have the coupe may trade for the roadster. my dealer has a black one sharp. mine is that graphite which is so cool
Pros: The way it looks.
Cons: The clutch, you have to get used to the take up.
Advice: The Dealers are really dealing. I got a Crossfire for less than Miata money.Great car. I feel good every time I get in and drive. Requires more skill and involvement to drive well than my old Miata. The Miata was a great 'kid car', the Crossfire is more grown-up and serious. Fast enough, quiet for a roadster, handles well but doesn't beat you up on the freeway.
