Advice: I only got 2K off the sticker and 1K factory discount for going with Chrysler financingI bought the 300C basic, 33K. My hot button is front leg room and this car has it. I am 6' and I like to have my legs straight out. The adustable pedal was not necessary because the std. pedal is set in the lowest position. I can't help comparing it with my wife's 01 Lexus LS430. Interior seating space and head room is identical. I measureed it. The 300C feels the bumps a little more than the lexus but not much. This is a heavy car and it has a superb ride. At first the deep dash took some getting used to but it gives you the feeling of protective mass in front of you. The power is smooth and awsome. You do not feel this car shift ever. The overdrive is geared very high with no engine braking effect. Chrysler claims 17/25 gas milage but what i read on the dash avg milege display is 14/21. The 21 is 70 mph highway. I do not feel the 4 cylinder shut off and ther is no indicator when you are running on 4 or 8 cylinders. I wonder when this function happens.Does not appear to happen at highway speeds
Pros: being able to pass other cars at 145 mph and still have more to dish out
Cons: being passed by a faster car
Advice: hold on its one hell of a ride, WHEN you get it make sure you get the c or don't botherI bought this car the 1 st of july and it took me a while to find on e that i wanted, becaus i wanted the best one since the price was not outragous. the one i found has everything you can put on it or in it. then i had it sent off to a place called e&g classics who then put a bentley inspired front end on it. and i'll tell you what, i also own a cadillac escalade ext, and I am getting rid of that in place of my new 300c so that should tell you something, get it before, hell you never know their is talk of this car going up to the 60,000 $ mark and i still would have bought it best car out their trust me it rocks. and certanly peels the paint off any other competeter in its class.
Pros: The power and styling.
Cons: The satellite radio could allow for the artists name in addition to the radio channel.
Advice: If you test drive it, you'll buy it!Beautiful car, excellent styling and a powerful, smooth ride. It's quite roomy on the inside, solidly built and it provides an enjoyable relaxing ride... no worries! I also enjoy not seeing 50,000 of them on the road.
Pros: pedal to the metal
Cons: heated seat
Advice: go for itfor the money can not be beat tremendus value
Pros: THE HEMI POWERPLANT
Cons: AVAILABILITY-----BUT IT DOES MAKE IT MORE EXCLUSIVE
Advice: RESEARCH AND TEST DRIVE AS MANY OTHERS IN IT'S CLASSI ORIGINALLY WENT TO THE DEALER TO TEST DRIVE THE PT CRUISER CONV.GT. I WAS IMPRESSED BUT I ALSO WANTED TO TEST THE 300.THEY HAD 2 BUT THEY WERE SOLD AND SAID THEY WOULD CALL WHEN THEY GOT ONE IN . IN THE MEANTIME I TEST DROVE A CTS CADILLAC. NICE BUT TO EXPENSIVE. FINALLY I WAS ABLE TO TEST DRIVE THE 300 WITH THE SMALL V6 BUT IT DIDN'T HAVE THE POWER OR THE FEEL I WAS LOOKING FOR.THEN THE 300C, WELL, IT WAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AUTOMOBILE. I WAS SOLD! TWO DAYS LATER I ORDERED A BRIGHT SILVER METALLIC 300C. CAN'T WAIT TO GET IT---6-10 WEEKS WAIT, I'LL BE 65 IN A FEW MONTHS, WHAT A B-DAY PRESENT IT WILL BE!!
Pros: satlite radio
Cons: Not having 2 pockets on both rear seats. The only one is on the drivers seat and I can't reach it from the drivers seat.
Advice: Don't test drive itI was very impressed with the power that this car has. And at high speeds this is the smoothest car that I have ever driven. Also you have a clear view of the guages on the dash without the steering wheel being in the way. If the car is going from a 8 to a 4 cylinder, I can't feel it in any way.
Pros: The engine, the looks, the electronics!
Cons: Visibility takes some getting used to. I wish some of the finishing pieces were nicer--but no worries.
Advice: Buy it and love it!!!WOW!!! What a blast to drive! I thought I would NEVER--EVER--own a Chrysler vehicle. Boy has that changed! I love my new C. It turns heads everywhere I go.
