Pros: DVD Entertainment System and versatility of seating arrangements.
Cons: Floating ride in second/third row seating.
Advice: Buy only from a dealership whose service department provides quality service.Test drive was selling. We bought that night. Since then we've experienced a rattling on drivers side between driver seat and second row. Could be surrounding window. It's annoying. We've taken it to the dealership multiple times for service but they seem less than concerned about it and therefore we still rattle. Additionally, we began experiencing grinding breaks at 15000 miles as did my sister (who has identical van). Again, dealership was less than concerned and the problem still exists.
Pros: no frills people-mover
Cons: crash tests
Advice: shop and compareGM put together a very practical, driveable vehicle. There's no fluff and a lot of plastic but this people mover offers lots of flexibility. Handling and visibility are carlike and the short wheelbase makes parking a breeze.Seats are removeable for greater flexibility.
Pros: The soft ride, and steardiness of the vehicle
Cons: The change engine oil light is hard to reset
Advice: Buy it from a dealership that is known for serviceI own a 2000 Venture, I bought it new, and now have 42,000 miles on it, and I have had no problems with the vehicle, other than a burnt out wire leading to the fuel pump. Once the problem was found, no problems. I have nothing bad to say about the vehicle, but the dealership, is another issue.
