    2005 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 - LS 4x4

Pros: Autoride, when pulling the camper, or have a heavy load

Cons: Steering wheel controls. At first takes awhile to get use to them. Not marked very well

Advice: Shop around via the internet. I made this deal mostly using GM buypower. I had great deals before I left the house

This is our second Suburban. Had a 2000 prior to this one. Traded for new one. Like the autoride, DVD, XM radio. Great for pulling our 31 foot camper, or going on football weekends with six adults.

    2005 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 - LS 4x4

    Pros: Inside Space.....a lot!!!

    Cons: Lack of interior attractiveness

Advice: Make sure you look for rebates...I got $4000.00 to apply to my purchase

Previously drove the Mercedes 320ML....but needed to upgrade to a bigger size for the arrival of twins(have 2 toddlers now). Unlike most SUV's third row seats....this truck actually has room to be considered a third row. Strong and stable truck to drive....great for long distances with the kids...got the DVD in the back which is key. Still getting used to the simplicity of the interior...my ML320 was really well designed and attractive. Overall....a good choice for the price and size you get for it. Wish the gas mileage was better.

    2002 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 - LS 4x2

    Pros: V8 Vortec engine

    Cons: Workmanship

Advice: Dont get it. Get a Honda. Poor quality.

Need to show more workmanship. Not that good. Test drive other cars.

    2004 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 - LS 4x4

    Pros: The over all feel

Cons: parking it in tight places

Advice: make sure you can fit it into your garage:) Because you will want it there!

Love it! Still getting used to its length and huge turning circle compared to what I was used to. Got a backup lens for the back window, so I can see whats behind me better. Still have a hard time judging distance to when parking it.

    2004 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 - LS 4x4

Pros: Stabilitrak, the adjustable pedal and the lumbar support.

Cons: With Stabilitrak you get all wheel drive....it has a Whining noise when slowing down. That bothers me because I don't know why. The 4 wd doesn't have that noise.

Advice: You should get Stabilitrak and Autoride. They are worth it

I am a long time Suburban owner. I always had Autoride, but this is the first time I had Stabilitrak. Believe me its wonderful. Like when you in a cloverleaf and you oversteered....it corrects. Its the most comfortable ride you can get on long trips and I like the Xm radio too. Its cleat and never has statics no matter where you go. The only time you don't have reception is when you're in a tunnel!

    2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 - LS 4x2

    Pros: Performance

    Cons: Ride

Advice: If you;re looking for smooth ride ,it's not as comfortable as some s.u.v.'s.

We test drove it and enjoyed the ride at that time.

    2002 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 - LS 4x4

Pros: Third Row Seat and Second row captains chairs

    Cons: Gas Mileage

Advice: If you need space and want towing there is no other choice

Bought the LT with the second row captain chairs. The chairs are flip/fold so we can configure but also you can walk between the seats to the back seat without moving child seats. The Main seller was that the third row actually fits a full size adult. All others have a third row bench but no space in the floor for feet so you ride with your knees in your chest. The Fuel economy is tolerable because the vehicle does everything you ask of it very well. We just spent two weeks in it ~4000 miles (now at 17,000)it never missed a beat. Excursion is too unrefined, too tall to fit in the garage and beats you to death with its hard suspension.
