Advice: buy the most you can afford. someday you will be glad you did.I bought a new Vette convertible. NO PROBLEMS. Everything has been perfect. The Vette is 100% supercar. There is no other car comparable FOR THE PRICE. NONE. The cars that can compete with the Vette are 50-500% higher cost. The Vettes acceleration, handling, styling, build quality is truly awesome. I see remarks about interior quality....I have found it to be exceptional. To improve over what is there now means higher cost. The Vette team has it 'just right'. I love my Vette. I plan to own it for rest of my life. Its definitely a keeper.

Advice: Get the power top. I didn't and I regret it.I owned 2 Honda S2000's prior to my Corvette. I thought they were fast. Well, they don't even come close! Forget about overhead cams, VTEC and the 8000 RPM redline. This car makes far more power without all the thrashing and noise. The F55 suspension makes the car a comfortable touring vehicle with the option to stiffen the suspension when you need it. If you're looking for a toy you need not look any further. Just do it! I assure you you won't be disappointed.

Advice: The car is faster than you, be very careful and respect the power. This dog bites.WOW! Plain and simple. This car is as fast as it looks. The ride is firm but not annoying, it's a little noisy while at speed on a concrete highway. The fuel mileage is unheard of, 1900 miles and has averaged 25.2mpg. This car has been untouchable, most people get a real good look at the back of my Z.
Cons: getting in and out tough for a big guy
Advice: easy on the gas peddle until use get use to iti love my c6 to death,i have it put away for the winter now which i hate but living in new york state to suck it in. i can't wait to get it on the road. the performance is great the mileage is great for the size engine and the power is awksome. the feel behind the wheel and the handling around turns forget the brakes you don't need them if you act smart and get use to it. the look my wife said after i saw my corvette ready to take home from the dealer was just earth shattering. the looks, handling, power and the feel was what grab me, and i never drove the c6 until i had my own because the dealer had none to drive

Advice: DON'T WAIT, GO AND DO IT AS SOON AS YOU CAN, YOU WILL NOT REGRET THE DECISION.I GIVE TWO PIECES OF ADVICE FOR ANYONE I LET DRIVE THE CAR. 1. GO EASY IN AND OUT OF DRIVEWAYS OR BUMPS IN THE ROAD 2. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE IT AIMED WHERE YOU WANT TO GO WHEN YOU STEP ON THE GAS. THIS CAR IS A KICK IN THE BUTT, GET UP AND GET THE HECK OUT OF HERE, POCKET ROCKET WITH ALL THE AMENITIES FOR CREATURE COMFORT. AND TO TOP IT OFF, YOU CAN HAVE THE DARN THING WORKED ON AT PEP BOYS AND IT GETS GREAT GAS MILEGE.

Advice: With the C6 coming out soon the 2004 Corvette (C5) is a bargainThis car is fun to drive, comfortable, rattle-free and relatively quiet. As expected the handling and performance are exceptional. My car has the 4-speed automatic with the Performance Axle (3.15 ratio) option. If you don't go with the 6-speed manual transmission then the performance axle is the way to go. There is a noticeable difference in performance between the stock gear ration (2.73) and the performance ratio. My previous Corvette was a 1990 6-speed. It had a rough ride, rattled a lot, was noisy, and would make you feel tired after driving it for an hour. This car is nothing at all like that. My 2004 Corvette is a joy to drive and you feel refreshed rather than exhausted when you are done. The build quality is very good. The only thing that was wrong on mine is a paint drip on the lower portion of the driver's door. Because of problems with other cars related to painting (e.g., rattles probably caused by removal of door handle hardware) I decided to just live with this. It is about an inch long and not noticeable. The 2005 Corvette looks like a big step forward, but the 2004 cannot be faulted. It is a great car that can be found with big discounts, making it all that much more appealing.
