Purchased an HHR SS as a grocery getter. The performance of the turbocharged motor is very impressive. Fit and finish is very good and the car feels very soild. I especially like having a small wagon that can handle my hauling needs yet be sporty and offer the performance and economy I want. The ride and handling are great for my needs. I tend to favor a tighter handling chassis and am willing to give up a softer ride. The seats are very supportive and all of the essential controls are layed out well. Gas mileage is good, around 20 in town and 29 on the highway. Only issue has been a noisy brake noise upon moderate to hard braking.

Summary
Pros: Flex fuel , price , interior size and outside body style
Cons: The buttons on the steering wheel take time to adjust to ,I changed my radio station while backing into a parking space for a short time.
Advice: Test drive it and talk to other owners. Don't just listen to a dealer ! make sure it fits your lifestyle
A nice ride with plenty of pep, even with the 2.4 lt. 4cyl. motor. seating is comfortable with leg room. We are used to large suv's (TAHOE) but find this a vehicle that fits our current needs & financial situation. Plenty of roomy space in the back when the rear seats are down and enough space for groceries when seats are up also.
Your survey does not allow us to choose the year of the Chevys that we still own without an error. WE still drive a Chevy Tahoe 1995; a Chevy K1500 1992; and a 1982 C3500. Not everyone can afford new cars annually!
