    2002 Jeep Liberty - Sport 4x4

Pros: Ride, quiet, elevated front visibility, off-road handling, good mileage.

    Cons: Front leg room

Advice: Fellow Jeep enthusiasts, don't let the 'cute' image fool you - this is a solid Jeep.

I had to pass up some very tempting year-end discounts and incentives of competing manufacturer's vehicles in order to purchase my 2002 Liberty. What sold me on the Liberty is the way it has combined the ready and true off-road feel of the Wrangler, yet with all the comfort and quiet of a large street SUV. I have owned only Jeeps, Wranglers and Cherokees, since '86, and I was at first very skeptical about the arrival of the new Liberty. Now, I would have to say that Liberty is the best Jeep I have ever owned. Maybe I'm just a sucker for 'tradition', but to me it is still true what they say: 'Jeep wrote the book on four wheel drive'. The new Liberty fills that long tradition with style and distinction. This could be the best Jeep ever.

    2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer - LTZ 4x4

Pros: 6 disc in dash CD changer

Cons: Small gas tank at 18 gal.

    Advice: Buy one!

This car is just AMAZING! I have owned many SUV's in the past and this is a truck that is a pleasure to drive. VERY comfortable to drive and the proformance is top notch. I haven't been this excited about a car since my first one years ago! The options are plenty, sound from the stereo is better then expected. Towing with the truck is a pleasure. This truck is a head turner! I have received several comments about it. 'NICE truck!'.

    2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer - LTZ 4x4

Pros: Radio controls in rear passanger seats

Cons: So many controls to figure out

Advice: Go ahead and TEST drive the others!

I shopped for a month before I discovered the Trail Blazer. I thought I really wanted a 4 runner until I test drove one, and the inside was tight. The Trailblazer drives smooth. I have gotten complements from everyone on the look. I have also gotten great gas mileage.

    2002 Jeep Liberty - Sport 4x4

    Pros: Clearance/V6

    Cons: Gas Mileage

Advice: It's not a car like it's competitors

We live in Colorado and just bought a new Jeep Liberty Sport V6. It blows away it's 'tin box' predecessor easy. So far it has been awesome and better then anything else in it's class for the same price. If you want a car (car chassey) buy a Sant Fe, Tribute, Rav 4, Escape or Highlander. If you want an SUV with off road skills then buy this Jeep!! Drives tight off road with clearance and has plenty of power. I was more impressed with it's off road skills then my former Jeep Cherokee Laredo and the highway/street driving is smooth with the new front suspension. Good power for mountains and great car. Comes with some nice features and 35/65 back seat split is standard, unlike the Escape and Tribute. We couldn't be happier! This car is in for a road trip beating in the next few years!!! Skiing, Camping, Hiking, Biking!!!

    2002 Acura TL - Base

    Pros: Power

Cons: Navigational system does not cover most areas. I should have purchased the Lexus

Advice: If you want a Navigational system purchase the Lexus or BMW. I am sorry I bought the Navi system

I purchased the Accura TL Type S a month ago. One of my main reasons for the purchase was the navagational system. That was a mistake. The navagation system is almost useless. Unless your destination is in the middled of New York City or Washington DC you will not find the address. I live just outside of Washington DC and when I want a location in the suburbs it is very rare that the address will be located. I went to New Jersey (Freehold area) and could not find a single location, could not even use cross streets. When I try to find golf courses in Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania I have been able to find one out of twenty. Almost all of the ones I could not find have been there for more than ten years so they are not new. When I compared the Accura system to the BMW, the BMW had every site I wanted. You see, BMW navagation system is broken down by area, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic etc. and therefore has much more detail. Accura covers the whole country. Well, I don't need Texas or California. On a BMW you can purchase the additional areas on DVDs for a couple of hundred dollars. In summary, if your reason to purchase is the navigation system don't buy the Accura. Seats are very supportive and comfortable, Acura TL-s has a firm ride and very predictable and accurate steering.
