Which inexpensive car do you think is the best bang for your buck?

Hyundai’s high-value positioning has brought the company an ongoing string of sales records that looks likely to continue. Just look at the results of our latest Autobytel Auto Poll: When asked “which inexpensive car do you think is the best bang for your buck?,” the plurality of our poll-takers—23 percent—pointed to the great warranty coverage of the Hyundai Accent; speaking of which, said coverage includes:

  • A 5-year new-vehicle limited warranty
  • 7-year anti-perforation coverage for unlimited miles
  • 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain coverage
  • For original owners of hybrid models, lifetime protection for the batteries

Those rooting for the domestics can take heart in knowing that the cool new Dodge Dart and high-tech Chevy Spark fill out the podium, thanks to 21 and 16 percent of the votes, respectively. Others earning votes included the Mazda2 (15 percent), Nissan Versa Note (15 percent), and Ford Fiesta (10 percent).
