What is your favorite luxury brand?

Based on the most recent Autobytel Auto Poll, it looks like BMW may want to consider adjusting its famous tagline to reflect a new position as the Ultimate Luxury Machine. After all, the company was chosen as the favorite luxury brand by 31 percent of today’s survey takers, almost doubling the score of its next-closest rival, Cadillac. Still, second place is a fairly strong performance from the erstwhile Standard of the World, no doubt reflecting the success of the 2013 Cadillac ATS—named this year’s North American Car of the Year as well as Autobytel’s 2013 Luxury Car of the Year.

As a result, not only did Cadillac finish ahead of Audi and Mercedes, but it also bested all three of the Japanese mainstream luxury makers (Lexus, Infiniti and Acura).
