September is Baby Safety Month—Which family car do you think is the safest?
Just as there are all kinds of families in this country, so, too, are there all kinds of family-friendly vehicles. Some folks prefer the room and versatility found in minivans, others are attracted to the more rugged looks of a crossover or SUV, and a big chunk of the population still prefers traditional cars. As for Autobytel readers, they prefer the Honda Odyssey, which also happens to be one of the most popular minivans in the country, trailing only the Dodge Grand Caravan after 11 months of sales in 2012.
Surprisingly, the No. 2 choice among readers was one of the slowest-selling vehicles of any kind in the country, the Volkswagen Routan. Although stuck at No. 168 on the American auto industry’s best-seller list, the Routan was barely two percentage points behind the Odyssey in Autobytel’s recent poll.
