The Volkswagen Passat SEL is the top of the line trim range for the front-wheel drive Passat four-door mid-sized sedan. The SEL is powered by either a 170 HP 1.8l turbocharged TSI 4-cylinder gasoline engine and 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission or a 140 HP 2.0l turbocharged TDI 4-cylinder Clean Diesel engine and 6-speed DSG automatic transmission. As the top trim line, cars with the SEL package are fully loaded. On the inside of the car you get a leather wrapped multi-function steering wheel, leather seating surfaces with Dinamica inserts, 8-way power adjustable heated front seats with driver's power lumbar and memory, and Climatronic dual-zone automatic climate control.

You also get a full suite of electronic and infotainment features, including a trip computer, Bluetooth audio streaming, RNS 510 premium touchscreen navigation system, SiriusXM satellite radio (with 3-month trial subscription), SiriusXM Traffic (with 4-year subscription), SiriusXM Travel Link (with 3-month trial subscription), and a rearview camera. On the outside of the vehicle you get foglights and 18” Bristol alloy wheels. The SEL trim line also comes with keyless access with push-button start, remote start, and a power tilting and sliding sunroof. A body styling kit and rear lip spoiler are also available as optional extras.
