What Is The Lexus Intuitive Parking Assist System?

The Lexus Intuitive Parking Assist system is a sonar based parking aid available on many Lexus vehicles, designed to make parking easier and help prevent scrapes and dings. Sonar sensors are installed in the front and rear bumpers to detect obstacles in the vehicle's path. When an obstacle is detected the system shows their distance on the Navigation and multi-information displays in the vehicle. As the car gets closer to the objects the system will also sound warning beeps to warn you of an impending collision.
