Ford (with some help from information solutions company Tweddle) has recently launched a new interactive Mustang smartphone app for Android and iOS devices. Called Mustang Owner, the app provides detailed information about the owner’s Mustang, describing features and capabilities as well as answering frequently asked questions. You can scan interior and exterior shots to learn more about components and other details, and the app also includes owner information, vehicle specifications, and trivia. There is even a list of race track locations where you can legally test your pony car to the absolute limit. You also get links to social media sites and parts catalogs, accessories, and apparel as well as special Mustang ringtones and wallpapers.

If you happen to be lucky enough to own a 2015 50 Years Limited Edition Mustang you can also unlock content in a password protected area that gives you access to special features focused on the anniversary model (such as the key features that make your car unique), as well as the milestones in the Mustang’s 50 years of continuous production. This section also includes exclusive videos, ringtones, and screen savers.
