Honda LaneWatch is a system available on some Honda vehicles that helps the driver monitor the blindspot on the passenger side of the vehicle. The system uses a rear-facing camera mounted below the right side mirror. When the right turn signal is enabled the system shows the video image of the blind spot on the infotainment screen. The system can also be used independently of the turn signal by pressing the LaneWatch button on the turn signal stalk. The system is designed to work in combination with the rear and side mirrors to allow the driver to safely change lanes.
