Newport Beach Ferrari & Maserati is the largest dealership in Orange County, California, that services those two exotic car brands. It’s easy to see, then, why the team at Newport Beach handles a lot of collisions and other auto body repair work. Joseph Kazemi, of the Newport Beach Ferrari & Maserati Collision Center, talked to Autobytel about how the collision center got its start, and what sets it apart from other auto body shops. When fixing a luxury car, especially one of Italian origin, it’s tough to satisfy a demanding customer. To maintain the vehicle’s value and integrity, it has to be repaired to its original quality standards, but modern materials, such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, aluminum, and cast steel, can be difficult to source and to work with. Technicians have to be specially trained and the shop has to invest in special equipment for each type of repair. The shop also has to be specially configured, with certain procedures isolated from the rest of the work space. So, the Newport Beach team saw an opportunity to bring such work in-house, so they could really stand behind the work that is done. Now, the shop’s technicians can oversee each step of the process, and can assure their customers that their exotic cars were repaired to the highest possible standards. Newport Beach Ferrari & Maserati Collision Center also has a team that provides race car education, training, and repair.
