What Is The Mercedes Premium 1 Package?

The Mercedes Premium 1 Package is available either standard or as an option on some of Mercedes’ vehicles. Depedning on the model, the package often includes an upgraded audio system, a more advanced navigation system, and upgraded seating.

On E250, E350, E400 HYBRID, and E550 models the Premium 1 Package is optional, while it is standard on the E63 AMG.

Premium 1 Package on the E-Class

The Premium 1 Package on the E-Class includes heated front seats, a power rear window sunshade on sedans and rear side window sunshades on wagons, and a rear view camera. It also includes an 80 GB hard drive based navigation system, a 610 watt harman/kardon LOGIC7 surround sound system with Dolby Digital 5.1, 10 GB of music storage linked with the Gracenote media database, SiriusXM Radio as well as Traffic and Weather with 6 months of service, and Enhanced Voice Control to let you control the audio and navigation functions. E400 HYBRID and E63 AMG models also add Active Ventilated front seats with heating and cooling.

Premium 1 Package on the S-Class

The Premium 1 Package is also available on the S550. On these models it includes heated and ventilated active multicontour front seats with massage, PARKTRONIC with Active Parking Assist, power rear side window sunblinds, KEYLESS-GO, and HANDS-FREE ACCESS that lets you open or close the trunk with a swipe of your foot under the rear bumper.

Premium 1 Package is available on the E350 and E550 Coupes and Cabriolets

The Premium 1 Package is available on the E350 and E550 Coupes and Cabriolets. It comes with 80 GBs of hard drive based navigation, Enhanced Voice Control for audio, telephone, and navigation, a 610 watt harman/kardon LOGIC7 surround sound system with Dolby Digital 5.1, 6 months of SiriusXM Radio and SiriusXM Traffic and Weather, and a rear view camera. Cabriolet models add 10 GB of music storage and the AIRSCARF neck heating system.

Premium 1 and Premium 2 packages standard on the CL550, CL63 AMG, and CL65 AMG Coupes

The Premium 1 and Premium 2 packages are standard on the CL550, CL63 AMG, and CL65 AMG Coupes. The Premium 1 Package includes KEYLESS-GO and Heated and Active Ventilated front seats. The Premium 2 Package includes active multicontour front seats with massage, a rear view camera, and Night View Assist PLUS with Pedestrian Detection. While the Premium 1 package isn’t available on the CL600, it comes standard with everything in the CL550’s Premium 1 package and the Premium 2 package.

Premium 1 Package for the CLS550 and CLS63 AMG

The CLS550 and CLS63 AMG Coupes are also available with the Premium 1 Package. The package adds full LED headlights with Active Curve Illumination, Adaptive Highbeam Assist, and a power rear sunshade to the CLS550, features that are standard on the CLS63 AMG. The Premium 1 Package also features Active Ventilated front seats, a rear view camera, KEYLESS-GO, and an electronic trunk closer to both models. CLS63 AMG models also get an active multicontour driver’s seat.

Premium 1 Package for the SL-Class Roadsters

The Premium 1 Package is standard on all SL-Class Roadsters, and includes KEYLESS-GO, PARKTRONIC with Active Parking Assist, rear view camera, ventilated active multi contour seats with massage, AIRSCARF neck heating system, and electronic trunk closer with HANDS-FREE ACCESS.

Premium 1 Package for GLC SUVs

Optional on all GLC SUVs, the Premium 1 package includes the Media Interface, SiriusXM Radio, panorama roof, auto dimming driver’s side and inside rear view mirrors, a garage door opener, integrated compass, 115 volt AC power outlet in the cargo area, and a power liftgate.

Premium 1 package for the GLE350 and GLE550 SUVs

The Premium 1 package is available on GLE350 and GLE550 SUVs, and standard on the GLE63 AMG. It includes an 80 GB hard drive based navigation system, 10 GBs of digital music storage integrated with the Gracenote media database, SiriusXM Radio and Traffic and Weather, Media Interface, rear view camera, and voice control with learning features. You also get a 14 way power driver’s seat with memory, a power tilting and telescoping steering column, power folding side mirrors, auto dimming rear view and driver’s side mirror, double sun visors, and a 115V power outlet.

Premium 1 Package for the GLS-Class SUVs

Optional on the GLS350 and GLS450 SUVs, and standard on the GLS550 and GLS63 AMG, the Premium 1 Package includes 80 GBs of hard drive based navigation, 10 GBs of music storage with the Gracenote media database, the Media Interface, Sirius XM Radio as well as Traffic and Weather, voice control with learning feature, illuminated front door sills, multicolor ambient lighting, and heated and cooled cupholders. Also included are a 14 way power driver’s seat with memory, a power tilting and telescoping steering column, auto dimming rear view and driver’s side mirrors, power folding side mirrors, and a 115V power outlet in the rear seating area.
