September 2010 Kia Rio5 Deals
The 2010 Kia Rio5 is an attractively priced hatchback designed to appeal to first-time car buyers looking for the best bang for their buck. The value-oriented Kia Rio5 also comes with an extensive 10-year, 100,000 mile powertrain warranty that is one of the best in the industry. The LX edition of the Kia Rio5 serves as the base model and it comes with air conditioning, tilt steering, an MP3-capable CD player and satellite radio. Upgrading to the Rio5 SX throws in nicer coverings for the seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a sportier exterior appearance that features larger 16-inch alloy wheels, a spoiler for the rear deck and fog lights. The hatchback also manages to provide 49.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded forward, putting on par with some crossover vehicles in terms of practicality.
Both editions of the 2010 Kia Rio5 are motivated by a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine that puts out 110 horsepower and 107 lb-ft of torque. A key component to the Kia Rio5's value proposition is its frugal fuel consumption: the four-cylinder engine offers a fuel economy rating of 27 miles per gallon in stop and go driving and 36 miles per gallon on the highway when combined with its standard five-speed manual transmission. A four-speed automatic is available as an option, and while it improves city fuel mileage by one mile per gallon, it lowers highway mileage by two miles per gallon.
There is a financing incentive of $1,000 cash back on the 2010 Kia Rio5 effective until 10/04/2010. See more new car rebates and incentives for September.
