September 2010 GMC Canyon Crew Cab Deals
The 2010 GMC Canyon Crew Cab is a mid-size pickup truck that can handle as many as five passengers thanks to its extended, four-door cabin. A five-foot cargo bed is also on hand to help haul a wide variety of different items, and the vehicle features a maximum tow rating of 6,000 lbs. The GMC Canyon Crew Cab starts out in the SLE trim, which provides power windows and door locks, keyless entry, and a CD player, while the top level SLT includes a splash of chrome for the truck's wheels, heated leather seats and a more rugged suspension system. The vehicle can additionally be outfitted with a six-CD changer, a Sport Suspension package that lowers the vehicle for better on-pavement steering response and an Off-Road Suspension package that jacks up the truck's ground clearance and adds in skid plates and a locking rear differential when the Crew Cab is ordered with available four-wheel drive.
The 2010 GMC Canyon Crew Cab starts out with a 3.7-liter, five-cylinder engine under the hood that offers up 242 horsepower and 242 lb-ft of torque. Fuel mileage for the motor comes in at 17 miles per gallon around town and 23 miles per gallon on the highway. A 300 horsepower V-8 option is also available on the Crew Cab, and with 320 lb-ft of torque this motor really helps improve the pickup truck's performance. Fuel economy suffers, however, when the V-8 is specified, falling to 14 miles per gallon in the city and 19 miles per gallon on the highway. A four-speed automatic transmission is standard on all Crew Cabs.
