September 2010 Ford Sport Trac Deals

The 2010 Ford Sport Trac is a unique mid-size SUV that matches the passenger capacity of an Explorer with the practicality of a short cargo bed. In effect, this transforms the Ford Sport Trac into the mid-range pickup that is missing from the Blue Oval's lineup. I addition to its ability to handle as many as five occupants, the Sport Trac's 4.5-foot box features three cargo bins installed directly into the floor, along with a power point for plugging in accessories and tools. The entry-level XLT edition of the SUV comes with air conditioning, a CD player, power windows and door locks as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Moving up to the Limited trim level extends the leather upholstery to the front seats, adds seat heaters for the forward occupants, installs the SYNC entertainment and communications interface and upgrades the stereo system to include a subwoofer. Options for the Sport Trac include a voice-activated navigation system, 20-inch wheels, a sunroof and dual automatic climate control.

Powering the base 2010 Ford Sport Trac is a V-6 engine which displaces 4.0-liters and which offers up 210 ponies and 254 lb-ft of torque. Mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, fuel mileage for this unit comes in at 14 miles per gallon in city driving and 20 miles per gallon on the highway. A 4.6-liter V-8 engine is also available, and not only does this motor offer better production - 292 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque - but it also throws in greater fuel efficiency (15 miles per gallon around town and 21 miles per gallon during highway cruising). The V-8's automatic transmission also gains an additional forward gear. Four-wheel drive is available with both engine choices.

There is a financing incentive of 0.0% interest plus $1,000 cash back or $2,000 total cash back on the 2010 Ford Sport Trac effective until 10/04/2010. See more new car rebates and incentives for September.
