The 2010 Suzuki Kizashi is an all-new mid-size sedan that favors a sporty approach to the family car segment. The Suzuki Kizashi's driving experience is tilted towards the engaging side of the spectrum, and its smaller platform helps to reduce its weight and add to its agility. The five-passenger sedan comes in four different trims, with the S featuring items such as dual automatic climate control, power windows and door locks and a CD stereo system that offers a port for USB integration or an iPod MP3 player. The Kizashi SE installs a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control and a power driver's seat, while the performance-oriented GTS throws in a sunroof, a louder stereo system and 18-inch wheels. The Suzuki Kizashi SLS tops the model lineup with heated leather seats and rear parking assist.
The 2010 Suzuki Kizashi offers a single engine choice: a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder unit that is capable of providing 185 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. All trim levels but the SLS come with a six-speed manual transmission, with the option of a continuously-variable automatic (standard on the SLS). If all-wheel drive is selected as an option, then the CVT unit becomes the only available gearbox. Fuel mileage for the Suzuki Kizashi is rated at 21 miles per gallon in stop and go driving and 31 miles per gallon on the highway.
