The 2010 GMC Yukon is a full-size sport-utility vehicle that can be found in both standard and extended (XL) wheelbase editions. When properly equipped, the GMC Yukon can accommodate up to nine passengers across three rows of seating. It can also store a maximum of 109 cubic feet of luggage with the rear seats out of the picture, making it one of the most capable SUV's in its class. The base GMC Yukon SLE comes with dual climate control, a power driver's seat, the OnStar telematics system and Bluetooth integration. The top of the line Denali edition of the Yukon offers unique exterior styling, upscale trim for the passenger compartment and luxury items such as heated first and second row leather seats and a navigation system. In between, the Yukon SLT provides highlights such as three zones of automatic climate control and rear parking assistance.
All versions of the 2010 GMC Yukon - save the Denali - feature a 320 horsepower, 5.3-liter V-8 motor that also generates 335 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to advanced engine management technology that includes cylinder deactivation, the Yukon's fuel mileage shows as 14 miles per gallon in city driving and 20 miles per gallon on the highway. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard, and four-wheel drive is optional. The Yukon Denali is outfitted with a 6.2-liter V-8 that offers up 403 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque, sent through the same transmission to either the rear wheels or all four wheels through an available all-wheel drive system.
