The 2013 Ford Taurus is a generously-proportioned full-size sedan that represents the flagship of the Dearborn-based brand. The Ford Taurus can be had in well-appointed base SE trim, decked out in upscale SEL and Limited editions, or transformed into a sporty four-door via the SHO trim.
The 2013 Ford Taurus is initially offered with a 3.5-liter V-6 under the hood that is good for 290 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque, along with fuel mileage that is listed at 19-mpg city and 29-mpg highway. The Taurus SHO gains a twin-turbo EcoBoost edition of this same motor, which churns out 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque while returning efficiency figures of 17-mpg around town and 25-mpg highway.
