June is almost at a close but we're squeaking in under the wire to bring you a final look at this month's rebates and incentives landscape. Starting off our list is the 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander mid-size SUV, which features the choice between zero percent financing or $1,000 cash back. Up next is the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze compact sedan, which can be had with 2.9% financing plus $500 in factory cash back, or a $500 cash rebate. The 2012 Toyota Tacoma mid-size pickup is offered with 2.9% financing or $500 in cash back, while the 2012 Suzuki Equator mid-size truck counters with zero percent financing and a hefty $2,000 in cash rebates. The final entry for this week is the 2012 Dodge Charger full-size sedan, which makes available a strong $2,000 in factory rebates or zero percent financing.

2012 Mitsubishi Outlander The 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander is a mid-size crossover vehicle that trades on its aggressive styling, above-average handling, and the availability of advanced features such as a voice-controlled navigation system, HID headlights, and a system for storing digital music files. The Mitsubishi Outlander can handle up to seven passengers across three rows of seating, and it is also capable of swallowing as much as 73 cubic feet of cargo.
The 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander is initially outfitted with a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine that generates 168 horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque while returning fuel mileage of 23-mpg city and 28-mpg highway. A continuously-variable automatic transmission is standard, while all-wheel drive can be added as an option. Upgrading to the vehicle's 3.0-liter V-6 brings with it 230 horses and 215 lb-ft of torque, along with a six-speed automatic transmission and a fuel economy rating of 19-mpg around town and 26-mpg highway. All-wheel drive remains available with the V-6.

2012 Chevrolet Cruze The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze is a popular compact sedan that offers a variety of different configurations, including the sporty RS package (body kit, stiffer suspension) and the fuel-saving Eco model. The Chevrolet Cruze is a comfortable option for drivers looking for a practical and inexpensive commuter car.
The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze features a choice between two different four-cylinder engines. The base 1.8-liter unit is good for 138 horsepower and 123 lb-ft of torque, while the 1.4-liter makes use of a turbocharger to grind out 138 horses and 148 lb-ft of twist. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic, and fuel economy for the entry-level Cruze shows as 25-mpg city and 36-mpg highway. The turbo model improves these figures to 28-mpg city and 42-mpg highway.

The Toyota Tacoma is also available with either a five-foot or six-foot cargo bed, along with trim levels that include lowered street rod edition as well as an off-road oriented trail model.
The 2012 Toyota Tacoma starts out with a 2.7-liter, 159 horsepower four-cylinder engine under the hood. Also capable of generating 180 lb-ft of torque, this unit returns fuel economy of 19-mpg around town and 24-mpg during highway cruising and can be paired with either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. A 4.0-liter V-6 is also available, and it introduces 236 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, comes with the choice between a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic gearbox, and drops fuel mileage to 17-mpg city and 21-mpg highway. Four-wheel drive can be added to both four and six-cylinder Tacomas.

2012 Suzuki Equator The 2012 Suzuki Equator is another mid-size truck contender that shares much of its mechanical underpinnings with the Nissan Frontier. The Suzuki Equator is restricted to Extended and Crew Cab body styles, and bed lengths include five and six-foot options.
The 2012 Suzuki Equator features a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine as its entry-level mill. Rated to produce 152 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque, this motor provides fuel economy figures of 17-mpg city and 22-mpg highway and can be matched with either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. More grunt is available from the Equator's optional 4.0-liter V-6, which offers up 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque along with fuel mileage of 15-mpg city and 20-mpg highway. A five-speed auto slides into the only available tranny slot for the V-6 Equator, and the larger engine also brings the option of four-wheel drive to the table.

2012 Dodge Charger The 2012 Dodge Charger is a full-size sedan that acquits itself well in terms of providing both a comfortable daily driver as well as an appealing platform for affordable performance. The rear-wheel drive Dodge Charger is roomy inside, offers a host of equipment options, and comes with almost malevolent styling that separates it from other family cars.
The 2012 Dodge Charger's 3.6-liter, Pentastar V-6 engine provides base model buyers with 292 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and when found with its available eight-speed automatic transmission (in place of its five-speed auto starting point) the Charger returns fuel mileage of 18-mpg city and 31-mpg highway. The Dodge Charger R/T is blessed with a 370 horsepower, 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 that also generates 395 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed automatic transmission and fuel mileage of 16-mpg city and 25-mpg highway are standard with the R/T model, which, like the V-6 Charger, can be had with available all-wheel drive.
