The 2010 Kia Forte Koup is an all-new addition to the Kia lineup that takes aim at the compact two-door segment. The Kia Forte Koup is designed to look sporty and feel exclusive while still offering the value and fuel economy that most buyers are looking for in this segment. The Forte Koup starts out at the EX trim level, which provides a stiff and responsive suspension system, a tuned exhaust system, sport seats and items such as power windows and door locks, air conditioning and a CD player that can also read MP3 digital music files. The Koup can also be had in the SX trim, which provides an even tighter suspension system, larger 17-inch wheels, custom interior illumination and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. A sunroof and leather seats (with heating) can be installed on the Forte Koup as options.
The 2010 Kia Forte Koup EX is motivated by a 156 horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that also generates 144 lb-ft of torque. Fuel mileage for this engine comes in at 25 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon in the highway regardless of whether it is shifted through the standard five-speed manual or option four-speed automatic transmission. The Koup SX steps up to a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that is good for 173 horsepower and 168 lb-ft of torque. Each transmission option gains an additional forward gear, and fuel mileage for this motor is rated at 22 miles per gallon in stop and go driving and 32 miles per gallon on the highway.
There is a financing incentive of 0.0% interest or $1,000 cash back on the 2010 Kia Forte Koup effective until 01/03/2011. See more new car rebates and incentives for December.
