The 2010 Hyundai Sonata is a mid-size sedan that focuses on affordability, value and reliability. In addition to coming with one of the longest warranties in the business, the Hyundai Sonata also provides conservative styling and solid build quality. The entry-level Sonata GLS features cruise control, air conditioning, power windows and door locks and an MP3-capable CD player, while the SE installs 17-inch wheels, a sport suspension system, leather accented seats and a power driver's seat. The upscale Sonata Limited upgrades all seating to leather upholstery, adds heaters for front occupants and adds dual automatic climate control along with an improved stereo system. A navigation system, a sunroof and Bluetooth integration count among the options available with the Sonata.

The 2010 Hyundai Sonata is initially outfitted with a fuel-efficient four-cylinder engine that displaces 2.4-liters. The motor puts out 175 horsepower and 168 lb-ft of torque and returns fuel mileage of 22 miles per gallon in stop and go driving and 32 miles per gallon on the highway. Also available is a 3.3-liter V-6 engine that generates 249 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque, along with fuel economy numbers of 19 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway. The four-cylinder can be paired with either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission, while the V-6 is auto-only.
