The 2010 Lincoln MKS is a full-size luxury sedan that offers a spacious interior and a good sampling of comfort equipment to help coddle driver and passengers. Each and every Lincoln MKS is provided with items such as HID headlights, the SYNC multimedia and communications interface, leather seats, dual automatic climate controls, heated and ventilated front seats as well as seat heaters for rear passengers, and a THX sound system. A long list of options can also be added to the sedan should these features not be enough. Some of the highlights include a navigation system, a dual sunroof, adaptive cruise control, an even more elaborate sound system and sporty exterior trim with upgraded 20-inch wheels.
The 2010 Lincoln MKS is available with two different V-6 engine options. The first is a 3.7-liter unit that offers 273 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, in addition to providing fuel mileage of 17 miles per gallon in stop and go driving and 24 miles per gallon on the highway in front-wheel drive trim. All-wheel drive is also available, and it drops fuel economy by one mile per gallon for each respective measure. The second engine choice is a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 that grinds out a whopping 355 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is standard on this model, and both editions of the Lincoln MKS feature a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift controls. Fuel mileage for the much more powerful EcoBoost motor is excellent, showing as 16 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon during highway driving.
