The 2010 Mazda CX-7 is a crossover vehicle that manages to be fun to drive in addition to offering outstanding passenger and cargo room. Infused with the same responsive handling characteristics and tight chassis tuning as Mazda's other sport cars, the feeling from behind the wheel of the Mazda CX-7 belies its spacious seating for five occupants and 59 cubic feet of internal storage. The crossover starts out with equipment such as power windows and door locks, air conditioning, cruise control, a CD player and tinted rear windows, while additional items such as heated leather seats, HID headlights, a sunroof, automatic climate control and even a navigation system can be found on pricier versions of the vehicle. 19-inch wheels and a rearview camera are also in the cards on top trim editions of the Mazda CX-7.
Two engine choices are offered to buyers of the 2010 Mazda CX-7. The first is a 161 horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder motor that also generates 161 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed automatic transmission sends this power to the front wheels and helps the crossover to return fuel economy numbers of 20 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway. A much more robust turbocharged 2.3-liter, four-cylinder engine is also available, and it generates a healthy 244 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is available as an option with this engine, and a six-speed automatic transmission is standard. Fuel mileage for front-wheel drive versions of the CX-7 shows as 18 miles per gallon in stop and go driving and 25 miles per gallon on the highway.
There is a financing incentive of 0.0% interest or $500 cash back on the 2010 Mazda CX-7 effective until 08/02/2010.
