The 2012 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 takes the already formidable tow platform that the 1500 edition of the full-size SUV represents and beefs up its suspension and frame in order to introduce even more utility into the picture. The Chevrolet Suburban 2500 maintains its nine passenger capacity but sees its trailer rating boosted up to 9,600 lbs. The hardcore Suburban also benefits from the installation of a new, larger V-8 engine as standard equipment, a 6.0-liter mill that produces 352 horsepower and 382 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is included free of charge with the SUV, and four-wheel drive can be added as an option.
