Honda Accord – What's New for 2007?Honda Accord – What's new for 2007?
Honda adds a new Special Edition V6 model to the Accord sedan lineup that includes stability control, 17-inch alloy wheels, steering wheel controls for the stereo, a CD changer, and an alarm system. New colors for 2006 include Moroccan Red Pearl and Cool Blue Metallic for sedan models, and Tango Red Pearl for the Accord Hybrid. This is the last year for the current Accord, which is due for a redesign next year.
Honda Civic – What's New for 2007?Honda Civic – What's new for 2007?
Two new Honda Civic models debut this year; the performance-oriented Civic Si Sedan and the environmentally responsible Civic GX Sedan. Thanks to a 197-horsepower engine, 6-speed manual transmission, and 17-inch wheels bolted to a sport-tuned suspension, the Si Sedan goes fast and has fun. The GX Sedan is powered by natural gas and is available to retail customers in California and New York, notable because it emits zero evaporative emissions. Other changes: Civic EX and Hybrid models with navigation have standard XM radio, and LX Sedans get an auxiliary input jack for the stereo system.
Honda CR-V – What's New for 2007?Honda CR-V – What's new for 2007?
Brand new from the wheels up, the Honda CR-V gains style and performance while retaining its spacious interior and fuel-efficient nature. Key updates include an advanced safety structure combined with side-curtain airbags, stability control, ABS with brake assist, and a tire-pressure monitoring system. Inside, buyers can get upper level models decked out with voice-recognition navigation and a reversing camera. The CR-V is sold in LX, EX, and EX-L trim levels, gets 30 mpg on the highway, and costs from just over $21,000 to just under $29,000.
Honda Element – What's New for 2007?Honda Element – What's new for 2007?
All Honda Elements get safety upgrades including stability control, brake assist, and side-curtain airbags that protect front and rear passengers. The powertrain is also upgraded with 10 more horsepower and a new 5-speed automatic transmission. LX and EX trims continue, joined by the stylish new Element SC model. Designed for handling thanks to a sport suspension, 18-inch wheels and tires, and special trim inside and out, the Element SC is the equivalent of a factory custom job.
Honda FCX – What's New for 2007? Honda FCX – What's new for 2007?
You need to care about this car, because it represents the future. Only one Honda FCX is in the hands of a retail customer, a California family that agreed to take on the high-cost lease payment for the hydrogen-powered fuel-cell car. Unfortunately, their model is a 2006, which means they don't benefit from this year's increase in range from 190 miles to 210 miles. Look for a sleeker and roomier production version of the FCX to further cement Honda's global powertrain engineering dominance.
Honda Fit – What's New for 2007? Honda Fit – What's new for 2007?
Just in time to feed Americans' need for more fuel-efficient transportation, the smart, fun, and functional Honda Fit arrives with an appealing price tag and a scrappy do-anything personality. Rated to get 33 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway, the Honda Fit is offered in well-equipped standard trim and dressed-up Sport décor. It's got plenty of room inside for four adults, and is genuinely fun to drive. However, you might want to consider the bigger Civic, which gets 40 mpg on the highway with its optional automatic transmission.
Honda Odyssey – What's New for 2007? Honda Odyssey – What's new for 2007?
One of the best minivans on the market gets minor tweaks for 2007. The Honda Odyssey receives a tilt and telescopic steering wheel, a center pocket coinholder, and a tire pressure monitoring system as standard equipment on LX, EX, EX-L and Touring trim levels. New exterior colors include Nimbus Gray Metallic and Dark Cherry Pearl.
Honda Pilot – What's New for 2007?Honda Pilot – What's new for 2007?
After a substantial upgrade for 2006, the Honda Pilot receives nothing but four fresh colors for 2007. Nimbus Gray Metallic, Dark Cherry Pearl, Aberdeen Green Metaillic, and Formal Black are the new hues.
Honda Ridgeline – What's New for 2007? Honda Ridgeline – What's new for 2007?
Despite its terrific utility and perfect design for personal use buyers, the Honda Ridgeline pickup hasn't proven to be a sales home run. For 2007, Honda hopes the addition of the RTX trim level will draw buyers to showrooms. The RTX is based on the standard RT model, but adds a trailer hitch, gray alloy wheels, and special exterior trim. RTS and RTL models continue, with the RTL gaining a standard power sunroof and XM radio. Leather upholstery switches from two-tone to monotone coloring, and four new paint colors are offered.
