No matter how superficial it may seem, the color of your car definitely matters. Our cars often say a lot about who we are, and our car's exterior paint color can often be the most descriptive extension of that personal expression. There are a lot of things to consider; do you like to keep a low profile in basic black or do you long for the attention on the road that only a bright red can bring? White can make your car look too much like an appliance, silver is just too safe, but navy blue is one exterior color rising in popularity. With just the hue alone, navy blue has the ability to make cheap cars look more expensive and fun cars look more mature. Is navy is the new black when it comes to cars? We’re betting on it, and these 10 cars are here to prove it. Which most appeals to you?

The High-Roller: Bentley Bentayga (in Peacock)

If you’ve got enough green, you can choose almost any shade of blue exterior paint color imaginable for your all-new Bentley Bentayga. As the very first SUV from the exotic British automaker, we think the Bentayga looks particularly dashing in the Peacock Blue pictured here. However, Bentley offers a staggering 24 shades of blue tones alone on the car, out of 121 colors available in total. The navy blue SUV will not show up in dealerships until July 2016, but can be ordered online in the meantime. The Bentayga will also come with a starting price of $229,100.

The Enthusiast: Ford GT (in Liquid Blue)

Shown in Liquid Blue, this dynamic supercar definitely challenges the notion of “red hot.” When Ford first gave the public a glimpse of the 2017 GT at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, it made its debut in this luscious navy blue. We find it a welcome change from the clichéd usual performance colors of white, red and even yellow; in this color, the GT is definitely adding a new, sexy side to a usually buttoned-up and conservative color. The Ford GT won’t make its way to dealerships until late 2016, but in the meantime, you can play with the online configurator to spec your car exactly the way you want it.

The New Classic: Lincoln Continental

The Lincoln Continental is a revered classic car; it’s been known for its sophistication since the 1950s and its name goes hand in hand with the VIPs of the 1960s. Now that Lincoln has brought the Continental back for 2017, it’s still a jaw dropper — and one that definitely looks its best in, you guessed it, navy blue. Think of a finely tailored suit or the crisp pleats of a freshly-pressed uniform and you’ll understand the association. Some things never go out of style, and the Lincoln Continental in navy blue is guaranteed to be an iconic classic. Look for it at the dealership in September 2016 with a starting price of $44,560.

The Young at Heart: MINI Cooper (in Lapisluxury Blue)

Who says navy blue can’t be playful? Not MINI. MINI’s Lapisluxury Blue is a deep, bold, non-metallic blue, which gives this navy just as much personality as its quirky little body type. We like that the Cooper maintains its fun demeanor and doesn’t get boring when swathed in a darker color. You can pair it with a white roof and side view mirrors if the dark blue is too serious for you, or you can go all-in on navy and join the rest of us at the grown-ups table. Lapisluxury Blue is available on the 2-door MINI Cooper Hardtop, but adding the non-metallic paint costs an additional $1000 over the $24,100 base price.

The Power Player: Tesla Model S (in Deep Blue Metallic)

With Tesla’s uber-sleek styling (and all of the dazzling tech that shines from the inside), the Model S is droolworthy in just about any color. Despite offering warm browns and reds, grey and black seem to dominate the high-powered EV's color profile. But Tesla’s Deep Blue Metallic is a true navy blue that manages to stand out despite its subtle color. A navy Model S is a classy and modern alternative to the typical black lineup you see in the valet line. To purchase a Model S, you’ll need to special order via Tesla's website or retail store and budget for a starting price of $71,500.

The Handsome Heartthrob: Jaguar F-PACE (in Dark Sapphire Blue)

Athletic and rugged, the all-new Jaguar F-PACE is sure to get your blood pumping and keep your daydreams fueled. Jaguar’s first SUV reminds us a little of David Beckham – youthful and handsome, but incredibly refined. The dark sapphire blue seems to pay the most homage to its British roots and even though the it-color will cost you an extra $550, we think it’s the perfect hue to make it appear fresh and not stuffy. The F-PACE has just gone on sale and starts at $40,990.

The Trendsetter: FIAT 500X (in Blu Venezia)

A FIAT on the road does not go ignored and despite its more well-known offerings of bright yellow and retro green, its version of navy blue will still get you noticed. It’s easy to envision this fun and funky compact crossover dodging traffic and seducing folks as they sit and stare in gridlock. We think the Blu Venezia looks best on the 500X, and will probably hide mud spots a little better, if you end up getting it dirty. You’ll have to select an Easy 500X model or higher to get navy blue, which starts at $22,735 (slightly higher than the base Pop models that start at $20,000).

The Young & the Restless: Honda HR-V (in Deep Ocean Pearl)

The Honda HR-V was designed for young people on the go and can handle their bicycles just as well as their weekend luggage. Offered in Deep Ocean Pearl, this lighter shade of navy looks great, and also complements the scenic nature this compact crossover is headed for. Look at the color and start envisioning the long, winding road its on, and its trek towards the horizon on your next road trip. Deep Ocean Pearl only comes on the automatic models, starting with the LX 2WD at $20,915.

The Family Types: Kia Sedona (in Midnight Sapphire)

Minivans can evoke many groans and sighs of disapproval; okay, these vehicles are not exactly known for being attractive. Plus, the usual bland color options these vans get certainly don’t help. That boring champagne color is always a dead giveaway that you’ve given up on being hip and a silver minivan is basically camouflaged in the concrete jungle. The Kia Sedona has a sharp appearance going for it, and the fact that it’s offered in a Midnight Sapphire Blue makes us rejoice. The Sedona looks sharp in navy blue, and we dare say, stylish! If any minivan could change that frumpy perception, it’s the Kia Sedona. However, you’ll have to step up to the LX to get it in Midnight Sapphire, which starts at $28,500.

The Workhorse: Ford F-150 Limited (in Blue Jeans)

Rounding out the navy blue list is the number one truck in the country: the Ford F-150. For those in the market for a tough, capable pick up, the F-150 delivers — and looks good while doing it. As a masculine, bullish truck, a fitting exterior color is Blue Jeans. Although the navy exterior paint is available across all models and trim levels, we think it’s especially powerful in conjunction with its Limited model King Chrome alter-ego. You’ll need to work hard for this model though, as the top-of-the-line Limited comes in at a starting price of $60,080.
