Kia Soul hamsters: Round 2

Introduction

I really wasn't a fan of the first Kia Soul commercials. I'm sure you remember the one with hamster wheels all over the road with hamsters running on them, obviously not going anywhere? The "smart" hamsters then rolled by in a Kia Soul jamming to some trendy hipster music, and all the other hamsters took note. My issue was in representing boring cars (that aren't the Soul), the hamster wheels didn't actually GO anywhere. Hamster balls would have been far more appropriate and comical, as like boring cars, they can actually transport you places. Somehow this tomfoolery won Nielsen's Automotive Ad of the Year, but I think round 2 is much more deserving. In its latest spot, Kia got my e-mail. The hamsters are back, but this time they're rapping. No, really, rapping as in Black Sheep's The Choice is Yours. It's a very comical bit, in which Kia ditches the hamster wheels for driving toasters and washing machines. It's all sorts of brilliant, and it's a must watch after the jump.
