At first glance, you might think the 3-wheeled Aptera is a gimmicky vehicle version of a diagram you saw in a sex-ed textbook. Look beyond the err...aerodynamic exterior, and you'll see what Aptera executives call the world's most efficient vehicle. With a 100-mile per charge range and an expected price tag between $25,000 and $40,000 (depending on hybrid, electric, or gas powertrain), the Aptera 2e could be the future of efficient and affordable motoring.Assuming a $184 million loan from the federal government is granted, Aptera says 2e electric vehicles could start rolling into driveways in about 11 months.
