    2003 Cadillac Seville - STS

Pros: The fact that I was able to get one.

Cons: The silly way they have the trunk cargo net set up.

Advice: If you don't get one soon, you won't get one at all. This is the last big STS.

This is truly a great car. In spite of the fact that it's a really large and heavy car, it handles wonderfully and actually feels as if it's gripping the road, not just driving on it. It accelerates & stops powerfully & never feels as if you're pushing towards the edge when cornering. Having good computer skills will help you program a car in which almost everything can be set & adjusted for your comfort. Alas, the 2003 STS is the last of it's kind. The 2005 will look more like a CTS. Get one now if you can & you'll save thousands in rebates & the like.

    2003 Cadillac Seville - STS

    Pros: sound system

Cons: Color (black) Clear coat scratches easily.

    Advice: Try it.

Good sound system. The ride is quiet. Powerful car that looks good. I drove a 1998 CATERA before this one and was suprised at the difference in handling and turning radius.

    2002 Cadillac Seville - STS

    Pros: Styling

    Cons: quality

Advice: Drive before you buy. Tghe car may have defects!

Bought a new Cadillac Seville STS last week to replace my '97. Had Good Luck with the '97. Wanted the showroom model, mistakenly drove a similar model on the lot. Bought the show room model. Got it home to find out that it rattled worse than my 13 year old Japanese car and vibrated at speeds 65 mph. Car is waiting for parts. Am on a 2,000 mile vacation trip but my new $40K+ auto is in my garage. Was going to take the new car to Florida next week but don't trust the quality. Car has 400 miles on it. GM quality had better improve if they want to stay in business. They may have this car back next week.

    2003 Cadillac Seville - STS

    Pros: comfort

Cons: does not have an automatic pull down trunk

Advice: include the STS when shoping comparable $50,000 cars

I owned a Lincoln Town Car, my dream car, for five years and wanted a more youthful car with more 'punch.' I decided upon a Lexus(430) or an Infinity(Q-45). After extensively driving the Lexus, I thought to go home to think about the price and the value. As a coincidenece, a Cadillac dealer was across the road from the Lexus dealer. I decided to drive a Sevelle STS. I was absolutely amazed by the handling and the ergonomics of the STS. I bought the Cadillac on the spot! It is absoultely a fantastic car. It does everything I ask of it. It is clearly better than the European cars I previously owned. It's fast, quiet and very comfortable. The only thing missing is 'snob appeal,' which doesn't mean anything to me. My STS is an outstanding car and if were stolen, I'd replace it with another STS.

    2002 Cadillac Seville - STS

    Pros: Northstar V8

Cons: Front Door Alignment at Front Fenders (Dealer fixed)

Advice: Get a Cadillac Certified vehicle

This car is a quality blend of Performance and Technology. Very comfortable to drive and ride in. I like that Cadillac remembers their reputation for driver and passenger comfort in this vehicle, yet the performance characteristics are on par, or exceed other luxury touring sedans in the market, some of which cost considerably more than the Seville. The NorthStar V8 is an absolutely wonderful machine, and any enthusiast will appreciate the exhaust note under hard acceleration! This engine definitely doesn't sound or act like your grandpa's Cadillac, it's a purebred that's more than willing to get out there and stretch it's legs upon command. Passing, road handling capability, and even evasive manuevers can all be tackled with confidence in this car, without any hesitation. Test drive one, or better yet, rent one for a few days and you'll fall in love just as I did.
