Pros: the ride
Cons: Not enough room in the glove box.Wonderful and comfortable ride, Will need new tires in about a year. Drives excellently. Attractive appearance.
Pros: the radio
Cons: The car is poorly put together
Advice: Don't buy it11 miles per gallon is a high price to pay. Dealer states its standard. You are luckly. The car has had so many problems and is never fix by dealer, as the work order states parts on order. They have yet to fix any thing. The bumper warrenty is a joke.
Pros: Air condtioned front seats.
Cons: Whats not to like?
Advice: test drive one soon.I spend ten hours a week commuting and the Cadillac DeVille makes this a pleasure. Very smooth ride yet nimble and solid in an emergecy. Power is more than adequate and visability is excellent.
Pros: superb ride
Cons: base deville has only a cd player, no tape. you can upgrade to a cd/tape player though.
Advice: get one, you won't be disappointed. This crimson pearl DeVille is the best looking car I've ever owned. It is simply drop dead gorgeous, and it really turns heads when I drive down the avenues. It just has the other luxury cars beat hands downs for looks. The rear three/quarter view is my favorite angle, but any angle is beautiful. Cadillac really is putting out some nicely styled vehicles for a change. They had some awful dumpy looking cars in the 1990's. The high-tech 4.6 liter V-8 engine is a joy - smooth and powerful, yet it gets excellent gas mileage (27 hwy). I have 6 people in my family, and this car will haul them all in style and comfort yet it sips gas compared to a big sport utility vehicle, which is what I would have had to buy in order to carry that many people, so it even makes sense from an economic\ecological standpoint. The car has a solid quality feel in and out - worthy of Cadillac's claim to be the 'Standard of the World', which wasn't the case with some of the junk they put out in the 1980's. They have truly learned their lesson that the Cadillac buyer expects more than a rebadged Chevrolet.
Pros: Comfort and good gas milage. Just averaged 28MPG for 10000 miles at 66 MPH average
Cons: 2004 no tape player.
Advice: Drive it and you will buy.Just replaced a 2000 with a 2004. Both are excellent. Good milage, handling, comfort.
