To commemorate the current generation of the Cadillac CTS-V portfolio, GM’s luxury division will offer 500 units of the 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe with a Special Edition appearance upgrade that’s set to make its debut during the second half of this year. Starting with what Cadillac—and the rest of the automotive world—consider “the most dramatic” member of the brand’s high-performance team, the 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Special Edition will showcase an exclusive Ebony cabin environment complemented by:

  • Heated and ventilated Recaro sports seats up front
  • Two or three metal pedals, depending on transmission choice
  • “Midnight Sapele” wood trim
  • Micro-fiber suede wrap for its multi-function steering wheel and shift knob

The exterior of the car gets a bit of fine-tuning as well, adding satin graphite wheels that expose red brake calipers, and gaining a darker finish for its signature V-Series grille. Also, three colors will be available to adorn the distinctive shape of the Special Edition coupe: Crystal White and Phantom Gray are no-cost choices, while Black Diamond ups the price of admission here by $995.

Speaking of which, the MSRP of the 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Special Edition will be $72,195, reflecting a premium of $7,295 over the entry 2014 CTS-V Coupe, and that’s before a $995 destination charge and $1,300 gas-guzzler tax.

As for what the future will bring, Cadillac notes that: “The next-generation V-Series models are in development and will premiere next year.”
