With the 2015 Buick Verano setting the pace, Buick jumped up six positions in the most recent Consumer Reports 2014 Annual Auto Reliability Survey, finishing sixth overall and standing out as the only domestic auto brand on the top-10 leaderboard. The next-highest U.S. brand was Lincoln, in the 15th spot. (Note: This year's Auto Reliability Survey evaluated 248 models across 17 different facets of the ownership experience, with data drawn from Consumer Reports subscribers over the past 12 months and covering some 1.1 million vehicles.)

And while the 2015 Buick Verano was the best Buick model in the survey, it wasn't the only one to ring up strong reliability ratings. As pointed out by the Consumer Reports experts: "All six of [Buick's] models included in CR's annual survey scored average or better reliability."

Also, this honor comes after Buick posted particularly strong reliability results in this year's J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study, which looks to the long term by analyzing vehicles after three years of ownership. Buick placed fifth overall in that study, trailing only Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac and Acura.

Of course, the 2015 Buick Verano boasts more than just superior reliability scores. It further provides all the premium features you expect from a Buick vehicle, but packed into a compact sedan. Included, of course, is the new mobile wi-fi capability from GM, backed up by OnStar's 4G LTE connectivity service, and also in the mix are highlights like:

  • Buick IntelliLink technology with navigation, 7-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth technology
  • Bose audio
  • Leather cabin appointments
  • Heated front seats and steering wheel
  • Humidity-sensing automatic climate control with rear-seat heat ducts
  • Driver-assistance measures such as side blind-zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision alert, lane-departure warning, ultra-sonic rear park assist and a rearview camera system
  • Push-button start
  • 24 months of complimentary scheduled maintenance, covering oil changes, oil filters and tire rotations
  • A performance-oriented model combining a 250-hp turbocharged engine with a six-speed manual transmission

The 2015 Buick Verano is expected to launch in the near-term future at a price that's still TBD at this time.
