Outstanding car except for the seats. Get extremely uncomfortable on drives over an hour. Too small for the average person. Hard, little padding. Side bolsters too severe.

Pros: Heated seats

Cons: Design of car, very poor visibility of the road

Advice: Keep looking!

Visibility limited in side windows, hard to see oncoming traffic--visibility VERY limited in tiny rear window. Difficult to get in and out, I am used to the LeSabre which I love. I hit a pothole, blew the tire, and then discovered that the tires are the bottom of the line, low quality junk; costed $700 to replace the rim. Guzzles gas like there is no tomorrow. No room for a full size spare tire in the trunk. Cannot pop the trunk from the driver's seat, have to go into the glove box. No coin holders in console. I have been buying Buicks for 20 years, but this was my last.

Pros: The seats. They fit me perfectly.

Cons: The angle of the rear window restricts visibility a bit.

Advice: If you're in the market for a full-size car, this one is well worth a look. Consider the V-8 models. The gas mileage penalty isn't as much as you'd think, and the performance from the milkshake-smooth Northstar V-8 more than makes up for it.

My Lucerne is the CXL V-8. I spend a lot of time in the car and this one is quiet and comfortable. Gas mileage has been a pleasant surprise, averaging 24.9 mpg in mostly highway driving. At 6' 3', I find the seats extraordinarily comfortable and the trunk space very adequate. Mine is equipped with the Harman-Kardon sound system, and this feature makes long trips more pleasant. Build quality is very good.

Advice: JUST GIVE THIS CAR A TRY!

AN EXTREMELY QUIET RIDE. I'M IN LOVE WITH THE SMOOTH RIDE AND FEEL OF THE CAR. I'VE RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS ON THE APPEARANCE. THIS CAR IS NOT ADVERTISED WELL AND NOT ENOUGH.
