Pros: The Look and the Comfort
Cons: No out side temp guage
Advice: Get one you will love itLove the ride. Sporty yet a luxury car.
Pros: VERSATILITY AND PRICE $19,500 BASE MODEL
Cons: HEATER NEEDS SOME MORE THOUGHT
Advice: WATCH FOR SPECIAL PRICING AT END OF YEARAfter driving this vehicle for over 3000 miles we are completely satisfied. It is exactly what we wanted. I did't want the wasted space of a pick um up...or the look of a mini van...but still wanted the ride of a car. We also wanted something to pull a small boat, and the standard base vous tows about 2000 pounds without modifications. Also we have grandchildren and really appreciate the height of the back seat...easier to get the car seat and baby in..The base model has all the goodies...
Pros: Mileage; Price; Features
Cons: Cheap feel interior; Quality
Advice: Go way, way below invoice; resale value is lowGreat features for the buck; a little 'cheap' in the interior; however, for under $30K can't beat it. City mileage is great...approx. 20 mpg and 26 mpg on the highway; pickup is adequate for 180+ hp. Ride is very car-like and smooth. A bit disappointed with the few rattles and creaks, but at $10K less than an MDX, not bad.
Cons: Center console bulkier then necesarry
Advice: Make sure you take alott of vehicles out before deciding.Great value and surprisingly good mileage. We shopped around allot and the Rendezvous was the complete package. It seemed to offer more then any other competitor at an equal or lower price and best of all has very respectable mpg. All that and a classy interior and a rich ride. Very happy with our decision. We were convinced we were going to get a Ford Escape until we went to the dealership. Very uninspired by the drive and the presentation. We looked at a Sorento next and were floored by the classy look, feel, and ride for the money, but the mileage was just not acceptable. From there is was a tough decision between the Rendezvous and the Highlander. The Rendezvous was more feature rich for the price and had more character in our opinion.
Pros: Seating flexibility and overall space available; quietness of vehicle; feels like driving a car.
Cons: Not able to open the tailgate without using the memote or releasing from dashboard
Advice: Was much more impressed the 2nd time I test drove (4 months in between) -- it grows on you.Pleased with almost everything after 3000 miles. Milage has been consistent with Buick claims. Quiet ride and stability is impressive. Power is fine-didn't buy to drive like a sportscar or haul like a truck. Made 4hr trip with 7 and tailgated with no problems. Need a roof carrier if using all seats for a trip. On the downside, middle seat of 3rd row is somewhat uncomfortable. Tailgate is large-touches garage ceiling when opened. Test drove in April, then drove MDX and Pilot. Purchased in Aug & got 6K in rebates which more than justified passing on Acura and Honda (who wouldn't budge on price). Hoping quality holds up over long haul-time will tell.
Pros: Interior Quiet, finish, comfort, style, safety & practicality.
Cons: Firestone Tires
Advice: Got a CXL FWD, should of gotten 4WDEven though I read the reviews on this vehicle on the 'lack' of power issue, I must say that the readers were exagerating, the current power coming from the 'established' 3.4 v6 is very decent to say the least, maybe is because my previous vehicle (chevy Venture) had the same power-plant and I got used to it right away. If you put something bigger the 19mpg city will suffer a lot.
Pros: The height makes it easy to get in and out of.
Cons: The pick up is very slow at the take off.
Advice: It is a great vehicle for the moneyIt has a very comfortable ride and very sharp looking vehicle. Should have a larger motor the pickup is very slow for such a heavy vehicle. We noticed that right away seeing we owned a gran prix with a 3.8 engine.
