Pros: The 3800 engine .. none better
Cons: ... can't think of anything ....
Advice: This is a proven car with the best V6 drivetrain made. This was the car I was going to buy ... if I didn't buy the Rendezvous ... I test drove a few LeSabres .. very nice ride ... smooth ... quiet ... powerful... The 3800 engine I now is the closest thing you can get to a V8 ... I have two other 3800 engines in my driveway ...one is 11 years old and the other is 10 years old and the engines are original and running better than most new engines .. it is very smoothe quiet and powerfull ...and durable. The ride of the LeSabre is superior to the Rendezvous but I like sitting up high and the room of the Rendezvous ... .. I would recommend the LeSabre to anyone who wants a proven car that will last ... and not rust out like most foreign cars and is safe... ........ also ..... you will put a lot more Americans to work.
Pros: I like them all
Cons: the older GM 3.4 engine
Advice: This vehicle will surely meet your family needsI absolutely love it! This vehicle is the perfect compromise of a minivan's versatility, an SUV's sporty looks, a sedan's ride, and not to mention Buick's luxury. I have two children, so I opted for the 2nd row captain's chairs, and the 3rd row backseat. I can't believe all that we can do in this 'crossover'. I truly appreciate what it has to offer since I previously owned a 2-door sport coupe. I don't think I could ever go back to anything less than the Rendezvous. I had shopped around and compared quite a few different models, this Buick offers the 'most bang for the buck.' Yes, it could use a little more horsepower and better fuel economy however. Even though it says 26 MPG HWY, I'm still only averaging about 21. But other than that, it's definitely a keeper. I have the FWD w/ traction control as well as the Luxury package. I'm still working on learning about all that this vehicle can do for me and my family - it's exciting!
Pros: the versatrak
Cons: the small spare tire.
Advice: you can not go wrong with this vehicle, buick has always been good. Finally someone has made a vehicle thinking of the small petite woman in mind. I was wanting an suv, but could not find one that fit my build. After driving this vehicle I fell in love with every thing about it. It is especially nice on a road trip. Thanks to Buick.
Pros: smooth engine and transmission
Cons: climate control
Advice: purchase with touring packagehandling, stopping and ride quality better than average. Paint smooth deep gloss. seats are comfortable in fron and back ..and roomy.; Trunk is large with easy access.Touring package improves ride and handling.
Pros: The Look
Cons: Side view mirrors are big.
Advice: You will be very happy.Driving it is a pleasure, a very comfortable, smooth, drive. I have many strangers approach me complimenting the look of it. I would highly recommend this SUV-Luxury Feel-Minivan vehicle to anyone of any age and of any financial status. It will certainly satisfy all....
Pros: Front Wheel Drive with Traction Control
Cons: The mini 'doughnut' spare tire
Advice: Compare this vehicle to any other SUV, it offers the best over value! The FWD with Traction Control Rendezvous handles well and has plenty of pick up for its 185 hp engine. If you live in an area that has lots of rain and/or light snow, the Traction control is a must. Consider the Versatility Package (1 SC) for the biggest bang for your buck! The overall drive and appearance of the car is excellent!
Pros: The radio controls on the steering wheel and the sound system.
Cons: Must use the remote or inside button to open rear hatch.
Advice: This is an outstanding vehicle for the price.I have been very pleased with the ride and handling of my Rendezvous. I think the power is adequate for a vehicle of this type. I especially like the styling with its SUV look. The only disappointment so far is the mileage. I was hoping it would do a little better than it has so far.
