Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
77,000 miles (stored each winter) after 14 years and every time I take it out, it seems like a vacation. To truly appreciate this car, You need twisty turny roads and a sunny day. The tiny truck fits a nice picnic and a couple of jackets. Pure heaven. The car is not fast, even by 2001 standards but it allows you to row through the gears and DRIVE the car rather than be susceptible to speeding tickets in 2nd gear. If you understand real sports cars, you will love this car.
I love my Z3 Coupe. It has that great tight feeling when driving, accelerates like a beast & is the perfect size for me. I don't mind it only being 2 seats (I never had to drive carpool) & I love the cargo space. My 2 dogs easily fit in the back & I can raise the protective cargo net to keep them back there. I can also haul 50lb bags of horse feed w/ no problem. The gas mileage is pretty decent - I average about 27 mpg so not great but good enough to make me want to use this as my daily driver
Very Very Satisfying
Pros: The quality
Cons: There is not a like least aspect of this carWhile most cars are just transportation, my Z3 is an automotive experience. The quality is excellent. The cornering is superb. The acceleration is just right for every situation. The overall ride and driving experience is fantastic. I get a big smile on my face every time I go for a drive.
Pros: Body Shape
Advice: If you see any Z3 coupe...don't think about it, just grab it. 2002 models are the last one. In my opinion, it will be a collector's item. From a woman's point of view...This luxury sports coupe is powerful, smooth and sexy. Although my husband and I didn't buy the Z3 for the 225-horsepower, six cylinder, 3.0 liter engine, and all of many additional surprising features...we bought this car because of the way it looks. It has it's own character...It's odd, but beautiful. 2002 Z3 3.0i sports coupe will get to know it's master's way of driving and will eventually become insync. This sports coupe hugs the road...and obeys command. It needs to be free, to let it's power loose and roar.
