2002 BMW M5 - Base
Submitted on 8/5/2002 10:07:12 PM- Summary
Pros: M label
Cons: suspenion too soft when you need fast corning
Advice: get ACS parts to make it perfect
a Sedan doesn't need 400bhp and stick shift. So if need this car to perform better, the suspension must be upgraded. Firmer and lower the suspension by an inch to make the car totally diferent. Stock pipes are heavy, fit DINAN or ACS give better sound and look.

2002 BMW M5 - Base

Pros: Overall performance
Cons: Thats a tough one
Advice: Self restraint when driving
Simply put, the most awesome sedan on the road today. I went to a Porsche Club track event and opened their eyes. The only close competition came from 996 twin turbos and an RS 3.8. I was a Porsche owner for 30 years. I have gone to the dark side of the force now and hardly ever look back. When I do I see Porsches in the rearview. The M5 is that incredible. I know some car company will come up with more horsepower, but I doubt they will match the total balance of Power, torque, cornering, stopping, and comfort. When God said 'let there be automobiles', this is what he meant.

Pros: The Power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: Wish the seat was a little wider.
Advice: Hang on!!!
This is the most fun you can have in four doors. I love the shift from second to third, amazing power. Clutch and steering are incredible. Car feels like it is on rails at all speeds. Only complaint is making smooth take offs at high speed. Seats are very comfortable but I am very tall and wide and they could be a bit wider in the seat for me.
