The 2013 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is initially outfitted with a 3.0-liter, turbocharged six-cylinder engine that can be counted on to provide 315 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. For those looking for additional thrust a 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V-8 is also in the cards, and this unit grinds out an appreciable 445 horses and 480 lb-ft of twist. The former engine enables the Gran Coupe to reach 60-mph from a standing start in just over five seconds, while the eight-cylinder should turn the same trick in 4.5 seconds. All-wheel drive will also be available with the Gran Coupe as BMW rolls out additional drivetrains after the vehicle's debut.
