02. The 2013 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe Shares The 5 Series Platform
Underneath its skin - and despite its additional length - the 2013 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is essentially riding on the same chassis as the BMW 5 Series. This is certainly not a bad thing, as the 5 Series is one of the most highly regarded sport sedans on the market. It does mean, however, that for all of its length the 6 Series Gran Coupe maintains the same wheelbase as the 5 Series, which means that its interior dimensions don't exactly live up to the promise of the vehicle's first impression. The 6 Series Gran Coupe is also heavier than its sedan sibling, which makes it slightly less nimble in the corners.
