    Really good alternative to the 7 series

    Pros: The improved i-drive is great

    Cons: The car is not as quiet as the 7 series

    I turned in my 2007 LI looking for a lower cost BMW and settled on this car. I use it with my wife on trips and wanted the carrying capacity of 60 Cubic feet, as I always liked the LIs trunk and wide back seat for use on trips. Also wanted the latest instrumentation. Plus I was trying to replicate that feeling of the 7 series luxury cockpit...this was very close. I had a 7 series with sport suspension, and my GT is also a sports model, but although I like the added maneuverability in the city, the GT is no match for the 7 series on the road in high speed driving..
